MacKinnon, Athol M.

Athol M. MacKinnon, a resident of Montague, Prince Edward Island, was the son of Lauchie and Addie (MacDonald) MacKinnon. He served in the navy in World War II and lived the Canadian North for a few years after the war before returning to the Island. He was known as Montague's Historian. Athol, along with his sister Olga and brother Eric, owned and operated the Montague Furnishing Co. which had been in their family since the late 1800's.

Nellie Patterson was the daughter of Robert (Bob) Clements and Ruth Stewart of Montague, Prince Edward Island. Nellie was married to Malcolm Patterson and lived on MacDonald Avenue in Montague.

Hilda "Huldie" MacKinnon for many years owned and operated an ice cream parlour and restaurant in Montague, Prince Edward Island. The "Montague Restaurant" was located beside the Montague River across from the Garden of the Gulf Museum, the former Post Office.

Amanda, known as "Bic", was married to Carl Boehner with whom she had three children: Carol, Sandra, and Bob. Carl owned and operated Boehner's Jewelry Store in Montague.

Mary MacLean, formally of Nova Scotia, was married to Richard (Dick) MacLean of Montague, Prince Edward Island, with whom she had two sons: John and Dougie. Mary was a former teacher in Montague and was employed as a book keeper for MacLean's Ready Mix which her family owned and operated

Julie (Lannon) Campbell resided on Queen's Road, Montague, Prince Edward Island. She taught at Montague School from 1921 to 1922.

Craswell, Clorinda

Clorinda (MacDonald) Craswell was a resident of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. She was the daughter of Alex MacDonald of Montague, Prince Edward Island, and sister to Senator Elsie Inman. Clorinda was married to the Oliver Cleveland Craswell (1892-1966), a photographer for whom she acted as assistant. They operated Craswell Portrait Studios in Charlottetown from approximately 1924 until Cleve's death in 1966.
