The collection consists of photographs of the Agassiz-Harrison area depicting individuals, families, businesses, industry (particularly farming and logging), events (including the 1948 Fraser River Flood), community associations, schools, and general scenes.

The fonds consists of legal agreements, contracts, correspondence, and aerial photographs of McCombs relating to activities of logging companies he owned, including 10 Mile Bay Logging Company, Clarke Brothers Timber Company and Eagle Creek Logging Company.
