Biographical history
Father Albert Drean was the priest in Teslin from 1938 to the 1950s. The Teslin people asked Bishop Coudert for a resident priest in 1937, and Father Albert Drean arrived a year later. He started a little mission and then built a church.
Custodial history
Tom Donnelly, who lived with his family in Teslin, ca. 1950, copied these photographs from Father Drean, then passed them on to his daughter Margaret Donnelly who brought them to Yukon Archives in 1989.

The fonds consists of photographs taken by Father Drean of people and scenes in Teslin, Yukon in the 1950s.
