Albert Fish had unbroken custody of these records until the time of their transfer to the Guelph Public Library archives. A donation of records was made by Albert Fish to the Guelph Public Library archives in March 2002. It is believed that a prior donation of records was made in the 1990's.

Fonds consists of records produced by Albert Fish in his capacity as a real estate developer. Included in this fonds are records related to specific properties developed by Albert Fish, real estate reports and studies collected by him and photographs of property and real estate of interest to Albert Fish. These records document Albert Fish's professional interests in real estate and property development in Guelph.
