The Alberta North Tourism Destination Region markets northern Alberta as a visitor destination, which includes working with the travel trade and media to organize consumer marketing activities to encourage travel to this region.

The fonds consists of photographs which were selected from a collection of material from a number of sources including Midnight Twilight Tourism, Points North, Alberta North and Athabasca County Tourism. There are photographs of Baptiste Lake, Mike Cardinal, Agnes Cardinal, Frank Ponto, Erica Haukenfrers, Darlene Zelman, Mike Zelman and Grand Rapids Wilderness Adventure cabins, Rob Lafamboise, Ann Wiselka, and the Athabasca River.
