This series consists of one scrapbook compiled by Alf Hales. Included in the scrapbook are letters, newspaper clippings, speeches, and ephemera like material primarily related to his retirement as a member of parliament. This series also contains two loose photographs. One photograph documents his activities with the YMCA. A second photograph is of a train wreak near Guelph which includes Alf Hales and his uncle observing the wreckage.

The scrapbook in this series contained several pages of loose correspondence and two photographs located at the beginning of the book. For conservation reasons, these records have been pulled and physically stored elsewhere. They retain the same file number as the scrapbooks in which they were initially placed.
