Custodial history

The register was brought down from Mt. Edith Cavell by Nancy Hanson on August 8, 1998. The cannister holding the register had holes in it, which is why the register is rather ragged. Hansen replaced the old cannister and placed a new register in it. The cannister and the registers are provided by the Alpine Club of Canada.

Scope and content

The fonds consists of one register from Mt. Edith Cavell (1984-1998) and a limited edition of twenty five hand bound book exclusively produced for the Alpine Club of Canada of the journals from the Ostheimer Expedition (1927).
