The fonds consists of material that documents Godard's professorial career and includes thesis advisory files, general correspondence, letters of recommendation, lecture notes, conference material, minutes and reports related to various departments and committees that she was involved with and additional material related to her work with the Canadian Federation of Humanities and to her work as editor of the "Bibliography of feminist criticism," "Gynocritics" among other publications. It also includes notes and drafts of her own writing including her undergraduate and graduate research, articles, book reviews, conference papers, drafts of her translations and a collection of chap books and broadsheets accumulated over the course of her career.

Fonds consists of records related to B.C. and Jessie Binnings’s correspondence with friends and colleagues overseas in Japan from 1959 to 1971. It includes correspondence with Bishop Kojo Sakamoto and members of his family. Letters are predominantly personal and are written by hand; several are painted using calligraphy. Other records include program brochures and news clippings for exhibits in Japan and North America, and scrapbooks assembled by the Binnings. These either commemorate various visits they took to Japan or the visits that their Japanese friends took to Canada.

The fonds consists of promotional materials, most notably full-colour posters, surrounding the shortlisting and adjudication of potential winners and the subsequent selection and celebration of winners of the prestigious prizes. This is a photocopy of a bound volume of Bert William's "Beginners Please My Life in Amateur Theatre". The work discusses his early life, including growing up in a working-class neighbourhood of Bolton, Lancashire, England; attending school; and working at various occupations while a young boy -- in a factory, in a cotton mill, and for several cinemas. He also comments on his early years in amateur theatre, the Workers' Educational Society, the First World War (Great War), the Second World War, and his work in adult theatre, both in England and in Canada, as a director, actor, and stage hand . The volume also includes photocopies of newspaper clippings, correspondence, and theatre programmes.

The fonds, held in two boxes, consists of six series of material relating to personal records of Ethel Marie Louise Belli-Bivar, personal records of Captain R.B. Belli-Bivar, personal records of Roderic Gordon Belli-Bivar, personal records of Patricia Belli-Bivar, miscellaneous ephemera, and Ethel Belli-Bivar's collection of twenty-three watercolour paintings.

Also included is a copy of Susan Roper's Portraits of the Indians of Quatsino by Benjamin W. Leeson, produced by the Research Project on Early B.C. Photography at the Vancouver Public Library around 1972, and 23 duplicate slides which accompany it.
