Biographical history
In 1938, Eric Atkins acquired the assets of the Harrison Lake Transportation Company and in 1943 established Atkins Stage Lines Ltd. At its peak, Atkins Stage Lines operated 20 vehicles, covering a territory from Harrison Hot Springs to Cultus Lake. The company's bus service ceased in 1963 but it continued to hold a contract for transportation of mail until 1968.

The fonds consists of certificates of incorporation, minute book, financial statements, income tax records, motor vehicle licences, records of accounts receivable, blueprints of buses and the bus station, descriptions of vehicles owned, list of employees, photographs of Atkins Stage Lines and Eric Atkins, and miscellaneous business records. Fonds includes income tax records of Eric Atkins.
