Biographical history

Ina Ballard was the daughter of John Morrison and Isabella Scott, daughter of J.T. Scott. John Thomas Scott was the originator of the May Day celebrations and founder of the first Masonic lodge in New Westminster. John Morrison, a contractor, cut a wagon road along Kingsway between Vancouver and New Westminster.
