Custodial history
The material was collected by Bill Ward of the B.C. Fish and Wildlife Branch and was passed on to Lorne Hammond of the Royal British Columbia Museum after Mr. Ward's death. Mr. Hammond forwarded the material, as a donation in the name of Bill Ward, to the Yukon Archives in June 2000.
Scope and content
The collection contains photographs and copies of articles and newspaper clippings relating to Edith Josie of Old Crow, Yukon. Includes a copy of "Best of Edith Josie" published in 1965, Canadian newspaper clippings (1972) and a copy of an Alaska Magazine article on Edith Josie written by Flo Whyard in 1973.
