Biographical history
Former members of the B.C. Provincial Police force, which had disbanded in 1950, met at a reunion dinner in 1964. Successive reunion dinners led to the formation of the British Columbia Provincial Police Veterans' Association in 1966. The Association held reunion dinners and published "Off-Patrol", a newsletter directed at former B.C. Provincial Police members.
