Collection consists of items associated with St. Andrew's Church including floorplans of the main floor and gallery and a sketch of the exterior, photographs of the church, the old and new manses and the dedication ceremony of the new manse, programmes for a production of the Messiah and Diamond Jubilee (1934) materials.

Fonds consists of a photograph album with views of Malaspina Hotel (originally called the Nanaimo Community Hotel) from its construction in 1927 to interior shots from the 1960s and a copy of the original construction specifications. June Leahy, who took all the colour slides, used one of the earliest SLR Pentax cameras while Bill Leahy, who took most of the black and white photographs, used a Leica camera. The photographs of the day after the fire were taken by June. The Leahys were friends with RCMP Staff Sergeant Earle Sarsiat who notified Bill Leahy of the fire; the Leahys were on site soon after the fire was reported.

Fonds consists of an official copy of an Order-in-Council issued by the federal Department of Public Works approving an application by Kneen's Builder's Supplies to build a wharf in Commercial Inlet (1950). Also includes correspondence from the Public Works Department (1933) and a hand drawn sketch of the subject area.

Fonds consists of six photographs of Chinatown taken by Rudolf Stueck. The photographs were taken a few months before Chinatown was razed by fire.

Fonds consists of a ledger recording the monthly receipts and expenditures of the hotel. Each double page covers one month. The daily total of receipts is entered on the left hand leaf and the right hand folio has the specific expenditures of each day.
