Item is a photograph of the front door of the house on Lansdowne Street, Sackville, NB, which at the time led to the sun porch. This photograph was taken the year that Mabel and John Alward moved to Sackville.

All Saints Church (St. Andrews : Anglican)

This fonds consists of both original paper records and microfilm copies. It documents the management of the land owned by the parish and other business affairs of All Saints Church, St. Andrews. The church was granted a large glebe, including land in the town, forest and on the waterfront. The documents consist of bonds, leases, assignments, licences of occupation, memos of sale, notes and mortgages. There is also some business correspondence dating from the first half of the twentieth century. A microfilm of the vital statistics records of the parish (baptisms, marriages and burials), dating from 1787-1961, is also included.

Saint John suspension bridge / William Murdoch

This fonds consists of a typed history of the Saint John suspension bridge with a copy of a photograph of the bridge. This history was previously published in the New Brunswick Historical Society Collections (No. 10, p. 104). There is information on early attempts to build a bridge across the harbour connecting the east and west sides of Saint John, including dates and names of the individuals involved in building the suspension bridge. There are technical details of the construction of this bridge as well as general discussion of suspension bridges including one in Wales and the first Brooklyn Bridge in New York. The report of the inspecting engineer, Alexander L. Light of St. Andrews, is included in this history. Names of stockholders of the Saint John Suspension Bride Company are provided as wel as a few details about bridge finances. Also included is an account of a violent storm that badly damaged the bridge in May 1858 and nearly caused a tragedy.

It includes one photograph of the campus on 3rd Avenue West and 38 showing the different stages of construction on 1st Avenue West and surrounding buildings including Safeway, Mackenzie Furniture, the Crest Hotel, and Chatham House before it was demolished.

Hays, construction of evaporators at Skeena Cellulose B Mill, homes under construction at Raven Crescent and 180 11th Avenue East, planes, Rupert Square Shopping Mall and Ocean Centre Mall under construction, Court House, and halibut and salmon catches.
