Fonds consists of records which document the administration of the Centre, including the records of the Management Committee (1962-70) and the Board of Directors (1971-81), and include minutes, reports, and correspondence.

The fonds consists of black and white photographs and negatives. Subjects depicted include villages, boats and ferries, landscapes, bridges, logging clearcuts, and totem poles. Some of the photos appear to be of the Lions Gate Bridge, Stanley Park, and the Capilano Suspension Bridge.

The collection consists of formal and informal photographs of the area, exterior and interior views of the buildings, staff and students, school activities, such as, graduations, sports events, receptions, and the like. There are large photographs of outdoor gatherings, including that of the Canadian Federation of Convent Alumnae (1948).

The fonds comprises the business records of Sharp & Thompson – later Thompson, Berwick, Pratt & Partners – dating from 1912 to 1974. The records consist of signed contracts, specifications, minutes, correspondence, quotations, financial statements, reports, signed Forms of Tender, memoranda, photographs and architectural drawings. They document the planning for and construction of the University of British Columbia buildings designed and overseen by the architectural firm, and also document the architectural firm's activities on buildings in Vancouver, the province of British Columbia and elsewhere. Some of the files represent unsuccessful bids on jobs. There are original, blueprint and ozalid architectural drawings in this collection. The drawings of University buildings consist mainly of original drawings and blueprints. The drawings of buildings in Vancouver and elsewhere are few in number and are mostly ozalid reproductions.

The fonds consists of reports and studies generated by the Physical Plant between 1968 and 1983. The materials include feasibility studies and functional programs for the Anthropology and Sociology Building, Buchanan Building, Aquatic Centre, Biological Sciences Building, Civil and Mechanical Engineering Building, Fort Camp and TRIUMF.
