History

CFB Esquimalt Naval and Military Museum was opened in 1985 under the direction of the Canadian Forces Bases Commander and operates as a non-public fund institute. The museum's purpose is to collect, preserve and display historical artifacts, photographs, and documents relating to the naval and military heritage of the Esquimalt area.
