The Chapel of Flowers Funeral Home was located at 1 Newcastle Avenue. At an unknown date, the business became the Westwood-Hirst Funeral Home. The volume dates suggest that the ledger was used, first, by the Chapel of Flowers and, later, by Westwood-Hirst. The current occupant of the building is Sands Funeral Chapel (2007).
Custodial history
When donor Eleanor Race's aunt and uncle died, the ledger was among their possessions. There is no known connection between the aunt, uncle and the funeral home.
