Biographical history
The Clothing and Textiles Collection is part of the University of Alberta Department of Human Ecology and retains thousands of textiles, garments and wearable artifacts covering a wide band of history and cultures. Research is a significant responsibility as well as exhibition and education.

The fonds consists of a copy of a Clothing and Textiles Collection brochure which includes a list of Masters' Theses on Museums and Material Culture (1983-1995).

The fonds was donated to the City of Edmonton Archives by Anne Lambert, Professor and Curator on behalf of the University of Alberta Department of Human Ecology Clothing and Textiles Collection in 1994.
