La Collection Neil O'Gallagher intéressera entre autres les historiens, les arpenteurs et les géographes à la recherche de plans illustrant surtout la grande région de Québec des années 1870. Cette collection se compose de 74 plans d’arpenteurs dont la plupart ont été réalisés par Alexander Sewell et Edmond B. Temple. Les plans concernent principalement la région de Québec (Québec, Loretteville, Sillery) ainsi que la région de Lévis (Lévis, Saint-Romuald).
