The traditional Tweedsmuir contains photographs of the village of Colebrook, including pictures of Main Street before the fire, newspaper articles, information and photographs of boys who served in World War II, information from the Canada Directory pertaining to the area, from 1857 and 1858, pictures of past Yarker-Colebrook Presidents, a history of Yarker, including its settlement and the evolution of the Simcoe Falls, and a history of Colebrook. The second Tweedsmuir is a collection of newspaper clippings and was mainly assembled by Mrs. William Jackson. It contains a number of articles about the Royal Family, including photographs from magazines. It also has some history of Women’s Institute work, articles about World War I and World War II, a history of Brookside School, as well as photographs of members and programmes. Fonds is comprised of the following series: Series 1: Minutes Series 2: Tweedsmuir history books
