The fonds consists of written and compiled histories about the people and institutions of Delta, particularly as they were in the 1970s when the Cains created their albums, scrapbook and informally published book on Delta. The scrapbook also contains information about the Cains' community activities.

John Landysheff fonds

The fonds consists of submisions and briefs, correspondence, minutes, landscape plans, and reference material generated by Mr. Landysheff's interest in promoting better community parks and recreation facilities for Delta. The fonds also includes Mr. Landysheff's original registers of meteorological observations taken at Pebble Hill, Tsawwassen, as well as publications from and correspondence with the Meteorological Branch. The fonds also includes memorabilia and writings by Mr. Landysheff on topics related to his work in the sugar beet industry, and to his interests in the history and welfare of his adopted country. The fonds has been arranged in four series: Weather observation materials; Community campaign and project materials; Writings; and Memorabilia.

The collection consists of copy prints and negatives created and assembled by Ken Young as a research project which he did as a student at the University of British Columbia. The collection consists of copies of original photographs taken of the Delta area of British Columbia between 1880 and 1950, including buildings and street scenes in Ladner, Port Guichon, Westham Island, and Annieville, as well as some scenes of Victoria. The collection includes photographs of family homes, barns, businesses, ferries and boats, as well as formal portraits, social scenes, and photographs of people at work fishing, farming, and in the milk and fish canneries. Also included are family trees, correspondence, and clippings.

The collection consists of a wide variety of material relating to Delta. It includes leaflets, tickets, memberships cards, raffle tickets, voters' lists, photographs, programs, and booklets. The photographs depict Delta people and places. Also included are records of the Delta Community Band, some records of the Ladner Optimist and the Delta Centennial Committee.

The fonds consists largely of reference material, photographs, and memorabilia collected by Frances Bates as a result of her interest in Delta history and her participation in the founding of the Delta Museum. The fonds also contains records from the operation of the Bates' farm, and correspondence dealing with the expropriation of the farm by the provincial government for the Roberts Bank development. The fonds has been arranged in the following series: Frances Bates' history collection, Bates family farm records, and Photographs.

Bell family fonds

The Bell family fonds is arranged in three sous-fonds: Edith Bell sous-fonds, Edward Bell sous-fonds, and Harry Bell sous-fonds. Edith Bell's records include diaries, scrapbooks and photographs of family and community events as well as records pertaining to her membership in various organizations including the Imperial Order Daughter of the Empire. Edward Bell's records consist of business papers, particularly land records and wills. Harry Bell's records are personal records related to the Bell family. Through photographs, cartographic material, and textual records, the records document not only the Bell family, but much of the community of Delta. Edith Bell's records provide insight into Delta social affairs and families, while Edward Bell's business records reveal economic and social change as it is documented in land transactions.

Gay Trevitt collection

The collection consists primarily of 100 colour negatives and b&w copy prints (1988) of the color prints that were placed in the Delta Time Capsule. The collection also contains photographs of Dr. King's garden and house, photographs and resumes of contestants for the Miss Delta title in 1983, and miscellaneous local scenes.
