Scope and content
This series consists of letters and copies of letters to and from unit staff and others at various bases from Petawawa, Gagetown, Winnipeg and Germany. Some of these letters are handwritten but the majority are typed.
Letter Sent from J.L. Black containing a nominal roll of the 8th Hussars in Camp Sussex a week before there were mobilized for active service as the 4th Canadian Motor Cycle Regiment( 8th Princess Louise Hussars) on the 17 July 1940.
