Cranbrook Archives, Museum and Landmark Foundation
The Cranbrook Archives, Museum and Landmark Foundation was established in 1976. Its mandate includes the acquisition of archival records significant to Cranbrook and area and to railroad development in Canada. The Foundation established the Cranbrook Railway Museum in 1977. The museum's name was changed in 1993 to the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel.
