The Roman Catholic Diocese of Kamloops covers 60,000 square miles. It comprises the interior of British Columbia from Lytton in the South to Quesnel in the north as well as towns up to Valemount from Lillooet in the west to Sicamous, Salmon Arm, Vernon, Lumby in the east and interior towns. The holdings consist of administrative records and correspondence of four bishops and clergy including ordination records registers of baptism, marriage and confirmation minutes of executive, finance, parochial, school and other autonomous committees, diocesan newspapers, over 600 photographs, newspaper clippings, Chinook and Wa Wa publications of Rev. Jean Marie LeJeune, O.M.I., maps, scrapbooks, a small library of relevant historical and published material, audio-visual tapes and slides, and a few artifacts.
