Biographical history
The Douglas College Foundation was established in 1983 as an alternate means of financial aid for students. The foundation was composed of volunteer members of the college and the community. It was originally called the Douglas College Student Financial Assistance Fund and was administered by the Douglas College Student Trust until the Foundation was incorporated in 1986.
