With the completion of the Leonard Miller book in 1998, these records were held in the possession of Dr. Martin. He deposited the papers with the Faculty of Medicine Founders’ Archive on 29 February 2000.

When the papers of Dr. John Martin arrived at the Faculty of Medicine Founders’ Archive, there was some degree of order present. Files were clearly labeled and in alphabetical order. This formed the framework for further arrangement and description of the collection, with the original order of material being preserved as much as possible.
