Biographical history
Germain Beauchamp est né en 1931. Il est photographe professionnel et pigiste, plus particulièrement à Saint-Eustache, ainsi que sur la rive nord de Montréal. Au moment où se tient l'Exposition universelle de Montréal en 1967, le journal "La Victoire" l'engage afin de couvrir les cérémonies d'ouverture et de fermeture de l'événement. Il n'en fait pas moins une couverture hebdomadaire à des fins personnelles

Scope and content
Le fonds documente l'Exposition universelle tenue à Montréal du mois d'avril au mois d'octobre 1967. Les images présentent tant des prises de jour que de soir et elles couvrent toute la durée de l'événement. Les photos-reportages ont été produits dans une séquence hebdomadaire et sont réunis dans la série 1, Photo-reportages portant sur l'Expo 67
