Fille de Prospère DesRoches et d'Emma Gaudet; soeur de Théodore, Hector, Léo, Corinne, Eric et Louis; aïeuls paternels : Pierre DesRoches et Rosalie Gaudet; aïeuls maternels : Jean Gaudet et Ursule Cormier. Couvent de Miscouche, études primaires et secondaires; brevet d'institutrice, Congrégation de Notre-Dame de Montréal, Noviciat, 1929. Institutrice à Cap-Egmont, Howlan, Saint-Jacques, Bellevue, Québec, Saint-Louis-de-Kent (Nouveau-Brunswick), Caraquet (N.-B.), Rustico-Nord, 1959, Tignish et Miscouche, 1967.

Société Saint-Thomas-d'Aquin, présidente de la succursale de Miscouche, 4 ans; Legion de Marie, responsable; dans sa paroise natale, elle s'occupait de la chorale française et partageait son talent comme organiste. Femme aux multiples intérêts, elle était collectionneuse de timbres, rénovatrice de cimetière, historienne et généalogiste. Décorée de l'Ordre du Mérite acadien par la Société Saint-Thomas-d'Aquin, 1982.
