Biographical history
La fondation de la mission de Saint-Paul-de-Rivière-Héva remonte à l'année 1939. Elle fait alors partie du diocèse de Timmins. L'abbé Charles René Lalande est nommé curé par Mgr Louis Rhéaume; au début, il assure le ministère à partir de la paroisse voisine de Malartic. Les premiers marguilliers formant l'Oeuvre de la fabrique de la paroisse Saint-Paul-de-Rivière-Héva sont élus en 1953. Actuellement, la paroisse fait partie du diocèse de Rouyn-Noranda créé en 1974
Custodial history
Le fonds a été acquis par le Centre d'archives de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue de l'Université du Québec en 1978. Il a été transféré aux Archives nationales du Québec en 1983
