Biographical history
Né à Québec le 27 avril 1858, Philippe Angers est le fils de François-Xavier Angers et de Sophie-Claire-Elmina Taschereau. Notaire, protonotaire (1884-1919) et registrateur du comté de Beauce, il s'adonne à l'histoire beauceronne et publie en 1927, un ouvrage intitulé « Les seigneurs et premiers censitaires de Saint-Georges et la famille Pozer ». Il meurt à Beauceville le 21 mars 1935
