Wilfrid Michaud est né à Rivière-du-Loup vers 1905, fils de Wilfrid Michaud et de Catherine Pouliot; il fait ses études au Collège Saint-François-Xavier de Rivière-du-Loup puis au Collège Bourget de Rigaud; reçu au Barreau de la province de Québec, il exerce son métier d'avocat principalement au gouvernement fédéral à Ottawa. Il épouse Thérèse Gagnon, à Notre-Dame de Québec, le 2 septembre 1944

Le fonds se compose de photographies, notamment du Collège Bourget à Rigaud, alma mater de M. Michaud; on peut y voir des salles intérieures et les extérieurs du Collège, des élèves, des finissants et des professeurs. On y retrouve aussi des cartes postales de Rivière-du-Loup, Québec, Montréal, Rouyn Noranda, Amos, Val-d'Or, Malartic, St-Isidore (Ontario) et Témagami (Ontario) que M. Michaud a probablement rapportées de ses voyages. Quelques coupures de journaux et des photos de famille complètent ce fonds
