The records of Forbes United Church came to The United Church of Canada Archives-Conference of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario as part of a transfer of records from the Hartney charge in 1986.
Scope and content
The surviving records of Forbes United Church include records of Annual Congregational Meetings, including minutes, reports and financial records (1927-1950); records of the Board of Trustees and pertaining to church property, including notes, correspondence and financial records (1907-1936); records pertaining to Christian Education, including registers and financial records (1925-1945); records of the Ladies Aid, including minutes (1908-1940); records of the Women's Missionary Society (W.M.S.), including financial records (1926-1933); and records of the Ladies Guild and Homemakers Guild, including minutes and correspondence (1927-1949).
