Records remained in the Fortune Pastoral Charge until they were turned over to the conference archives sometime after its formation in 1966.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of records relating to the functional bodies of the Charge which include various boards, committees, organizations and groups. Included are vital statistics, minutes, annual reports, financial records and publications which include a history of Methodism in Fortune.
The records are arranged in the following series:
Series 1.0 Baptism, marriage and burial records (1877-1946)
Series 2.0 Board and committee records (1900-1928)
Series 3.0 Miscellaneous records (1905-1995)(predominate (1966-1995).
