This collection consists of various textual and photographic records of Doris Muncey Haslam spanning the years ca. 1870 to 2000. The records are divided into four series: the Genealogical notes and correspondence series details Doris Haslam's continued interest in genealogy; the Scrapbooks series contains five of Doris Haslam's scrapbooks; the Personal correspondence and household accounts series consists of an account book and letters; and the Miscellaneous records series contains newsletters, postcards and a draft copy of the community history of Springfield.

This collection consists of genealogical and historical material relating to the town of Alberton, Prince Edward Island, which Eileen Oulton collected or complied between the years 1960 and 1978. The collection is divided into 15 series: Photographs; Genealogy; Interviews; Local Histories; Folk Songs; Diaries; Newspaper articles written by Eileen Oulton; Newspaper articles; Royal Canadian Legion, Tignish Branch #6 Monthly Bulletin; Heritage Foundation newsletters; Alberton and Area Churches; Artifact and photo ledgers; Shipping Casualties and notes on ships; P.E.I. Railway Stations; and Miscellaneous. The images in Series 1 were collected from local residents with the assistance of Frank Pridham. Series 2 - Genealogy includes genealogical cards organized by family name, family genealogical charts, obituaries, Catholic Church records, Cemetery records, and other various finding aids.

This fonds consists of original, photocopied, and microfilmed copies of issues of "The Maple Leaf" magazine dating from 1907 to 1947. Originally a monthly magazine, publication changed to a bi-monthly format in 1942. The magazine includes: news stories and reminiscences of Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Maine, Massachusetts, and California; poetry; correspondence; the column "Persons and Places, Past and Present" containing stories about people and vital statistics; and short fiction stories in "The Children's Department".

This fonds is arranged by the format of the records: bound issues, individual issues housed in files, and microfilmed issues.
