General Correspondence
This series consists of incoming and outgoing correspondence with various individuals, organizations and companies. Included are physicians, scientists, pharmaceutical companies, journal editors and administrators, publishers, medical associations, research institutes, foundations, government agencies, politicians, and colleagues around the world.
These files reflect the full range of Dr. Hoffer's research and medical interests, and his involvement with numerous organizations such as the Academy of Orthomolecular Psychiatry, the Canadian Mental Health Association, the Journal of Orthomolecular Psychiatry, the Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine, the Journal of Schizophrenia, the Huxley Institute for Biosocial Research, the American Schizophrenia Association/Foundation, the Canadian Schizophrenia Foundation, and Schizophrenics Anonymous. Correspondence includes physicians and lay people writing for advise regarding nutrition, orthomolecular medicine, or asking for referrals to orthomolecular physicians practicing around the world.
