Series was consolidated from a number of partially organized and miscellaneous records transferred to, and accumulated by, the Faculty of Medicine Archives between 1974 and 2007.

Scope and content

Series consists of two folders of textual records realting to:<br/>
(1) Anatomy Act misc records incl papers by IM Thompson on the supply of anatomical material 1949;<br/>
on the Anatomy Act 1958; by WJ Condo on Service after Death 1975 pub photos of graveside ceremony and monument<br/>
(2) incl lists of Anatomy staff 1884-1919;<br/>
copy of RB Mitchell's Manitoba Anatomists, Moore's "The anatomy depart" MMR Feb 1967 material on KL Moore and the sex of newborns, Persaud's Early Man anatomists Man Med 62: 160165 1992;<br/>
Persaud's "brief history of anatomy at UM" Anat Anz 1983: 153 3-31 with bios & photos;<br/>
