In 1983 the Council membership consisted of the Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, three Conference Representatives to National Division of Mission, eight representatives from each Presbytery, fourteen convenors or committee representatives, and three corresponding members (from the Prairie Christian Training Centre, CGIT, and the Student Christian Movement); thirty-three in total. The full Council met twice a year until budget cuts in 1990 led to their meeting only once a year. The smaller Council Executive could meet more often as required.

Items described here consist of minutes of the meetings of the full Council and meetings of the Council Executive, including attachments and appendices, dating from September 1983 to April 1993 as well as reports of constituent committees submitted to the Council for the 1986/87 Conference year. Also found here are items pertaining to Presbytery representatives to Council dating from 1990 and 1991; financial reports and budgets dating from 1990 to 1993; annual conference orientation materials dating from ca.1990; theological statements of constituent committees dating from 1988 to 1989; and photographs of the "In Love and Solidarity" Nicaragua Quilt.
