Fonds consists of the personal papers of William Bray and includes school certificates, an election advertisement and correspondence. Letters include correspondence to William E. Ireland, then Provincial Archivist, about the formation of a Nanaimo branch of the provincial historical society and information about photographs of the Nanaimo area and letters to his mother from Edmonton that relate to his health and employment hardships.
