The fonds consists of records relating to both the National and Provincial CCF/NDP party from 1941 to 1996. The personal files of Douglas MacFarlane contain correspondence, accounts, as well as speech, presentation, and broadcast notes. Records of the National and Provincial CCF/NDP Party include minutes of meetings, correspondence, reports, resolutions, statistics, programs and policies. The fonds also contains information relating to elections on PEI from 1927 to 1995, various newsletters from 1948 to 1994, financial records of the Bedeque Power Company, and miscellaneous files of Douglas MacFarlane.
