Series forms part of Atlantic Provinces Book Review and Service fonds and consists of periodical issues which were published four times annually. Each issue contains about 20 pages and reviews of between 50 and 75 books. Most of the books are Atlantic Canada directed or written by Atlantic Canadians. Other significant Canadian publications also receive attention.

Fonds consists of information concerning editor's reports, business manager reports, treasurer's report, reviewers' contracts, Board of Directors meeting minutes, budgets, review issues, and correspondence.
