The collection consists of Treaty and protocol documents, and correspondence for the Minister's use. The correspondence Martin selected for inclusion in these volumes was limited to letters containing significant argument for and against the Columbia River Treaty.

This collection consists of Botsford family records donated by 4 different donors. Records relating to Amos Botsford include accounts payable, land records and records of annuities belonging to Deborah Murray. A list of the Loyalist settlement in the Annapolis/Digby area, Nova Scotia includes equipment and tools received from Amos Botsford and names of families. There are also complaints about Amos Botsford's handling of Loyalist claims.

Records relating to William Botsford include his receipt book, 1801-1829, for legal services rendered and testimonials and recommendations written for individuals including one for immigration purposes. There is also a copy of a warrant re William Botsford's salary as assistant judge. Documents pertaining to the Supreme Court case of Robert Crookshank and William Walker v. J. White, George Nowlan, and George Ketchum probably also belonged to William.

There are certificates and other personal papers belonging to Garrad Clopper, Harry G. Botsford of Boston, LeBaron Botsford and Sarah Cyper. Family and business correspondence, 1782-1913. Deeds for Botsford family property from 1797 to 1837 are also included.

There are also ephemeral items including Valentine's Day and other cards, and a printed poem by Maud Botsford entitled, "Our Boys," probably from the First World War. The apprenticeship indenture of Frederick Turner as a clerk and writer to Henry George Clopper of Wakefield, York, Co. N.B. is dated 1827.

There are family and legal papers relating to the Clopper, Murray and Ralph Cook estates. A plan of the Clopper farm in Fredericton is also included.

This collection is diverse. Most of the material relates to the counties of York and Sunbury, but a wide variety of topics relating generally to New Brunswick are also included. There are 88 manuscript series.

This collection consists of printed preliminary lists of eligible voters for the 1958 federal election for polling stations 1 to 32 in Fredericton, New Brunswick and for polling stations 33 to 109 in the electoral district of York-Sunbury.

Also included are printed preliminary lists of eligible voters for the rural districts of Northumberland-Miramichi, Hardwicke, Kent County, and Royal, as well as for Newcastle and Chatham in Northumberland County.

The fonds consists of approximately 40,000 photo images (prints, transparencies and negatives) created or commissioned by the Communications Group, one of the six Groups which made up OCO. Most of them are from the Information Services Division. Some, mostly duplicates of those from Information Services, are from Products and Advertising and from Community Relations. All of this material is in English. Most of the images are in colour, the transparencies are 35mm and enclosed in slide cases, and photo prints are 8 x 10" or smaller. Some of what are referred to as negatives are in fact internegatives made from transparencies. This material is in very good physical condition. These photo images were commissioned and created for the purposes of publicizing the 1988 Olympic Winter Games before they occurred, of educating people about the Games, and of documenting preparation for the Games and the Games themselves. The collection consists of a hexagonal shaped metal (bronze?) license, number 888 for a "Double Dray", 1912. A dray was a low, heavy cart.
