Originally the photographs were stored in an album with a card addressed "to Mr. and Mrs. Bohanon from Mrs. Danly D. Sprague with kindest remembrances." The photographs were taken by Prince Rupert photographer J.D. (James Dennis) Allen and depict scenes of the townsite.
