Collection consists of an oral history by Hugh B. Evans about his experiences as a sailor on the Southern Cross Expedition, dated 1970, an index to a cash book dated 1905 from the Vermilion Branch of the Canadian Bank of Commerce and notes on the pioneer telegraph system in Alberta dated 1976, both compiled by Allen Ronaghan, a copy of the United Farmers of Alberta Union Local No. 139 minutes and membership roll, and a copy of the attendance register of the Batts School District No. 1960 dating 1918-1919.

Grant MacEwan College Music Library radio audio disc collection

The collection consists of 78 rpm, 33 1/3 rpm, LPs, microgroove, shellac, acetate, vinyl, and transcription audio discs that comprised Sunwapta Broadcasting's (CFRN Radio's) music library for radio broadcast, and David Lennick's personal record collection. These two collections were intermixed by the Grant MacEwan College Music Library so are no longer distinct entities. The collection consists mainly of popular music, sound effects, production music, and syndicated radio plays and programs. The original Sunwapta Broadcasting Co. collection consisted of approximately 14,500 audio discs of a mix of American, Canadian, British and other commercial recordings of music, 1920s to 1950s, that comprised Sunwapta Broadcasting's (CFRN's) music library for radio broadcast. Music genres include big band, Christmas, classical, country/western, easy listening, ethnic, pop/jazz vocalist, folk, French, gospel/spiritual, instrumental/easy listening, jazz, military, novelty, rhythm and blues, rock and roll, and sacred. The original David Lennick collection consisted of approximately 2500 audio discs of a mix of American, Canadian, British, and other commercial recordings of sound effects, production music, syndicated radio plays and programs, and classical, jazz, western and popular music.

Smith of Athabasca Landing dating 1897-1907, a pamphlet entitled <em>The Aberhart Plan</em> dating 1935, and a 50th Anniversary issue of <em>The Landing Trail Post</em> newspaper dating 1961.

The collection consists of an almost complete run of the Edmonton's <em>Real Estate Weekly</em> newspaper from 1983 to 1995, which in early years contained mostly trade advertisements, but in later years contained a variety of historical features by columnists such as Alex Mair and Lawrence Herzog, along with public interest articles on the real estate industry, the building trades and tourism in Alberta.

The collection consists of material found in Room A137 of the Provincial Museum and Archives Building in 1969. No information is known regarding the provenance of the materials. The collection includes: an Edmonton and District Labour Council Annuals published by the Edmonton Trades and Labour Council and the Calgary Labour Council dating from 1951 -- 1961; a booklet entitled "Boy Blue's Verses" by Frederick Balmer Watt )1918); the first annual report of the North Alberta Auxiliary of the British and Foreign Bible Society in Canada and Newfoundland (1938); regulations providing for the election of representatives of the Armed Forces (1944); a conference paper presented by Ernest Manning (1945); a booklet entitled "The Magpie Menace" by Kerry Wood; Alberta Public Service pamphlets (1955); informational pamphlets on Alberta's Jubilee Auditoriums of Calgary and Edmonton (1955); a program of the 52nd Annual Meeting of the Historical Society of Alberta (1859); Peace River and District Telephone Directory (1963); copy of the "Tattler" published by the Minus One Club of Edmonon (1955); pamphlets and postcards related to the history of Edmonton circa 1950s; a photo album entitled "The Canadian Pacific Rockies" 25 photogravures published by Byron Harmon circa 1900; copies of the Raymond Review Aug 3, 1966 and Aug 10, 1966; Vol. 1, No. 1 of the Explorer first centennial edition, Peace River Country (1967); a copy of the Alberta Red Cross News Pictorial Campaign No. 3 (1925); a copy of the Edmonton Journal "Annual Review and Forecast (1967); an illustrated booklet celebrating Alberta's Golden Jubilee; Edmonton Transit System passes dating from the 1960s; and 6 blueprints indicating the construction of streets in Carstairs and Wetaskiwin, Alberta (1906).
