Series consists of sketch books, scrapbooks, and loose sketches created by Mary Shane (nee Ferguson) as a girl and young woman, c. 1909-1940s. Subjects of sketches include mostly kitchen-themed still life images and shapes.

File consists of documents regarding the Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority's channelization project, 1980-1983. Series consists of various images collected by S. Peacock during the creation of "The Great Farini," 1996. It includes: Research images, mostly from Archives of Ontario; Farini's Art, miscellaneous original sources listed; Anne Muller, Farini, images; Lulu & Edith Farini; Lulu images; Krao; Miscellaneous (Archives of Ontario); Miscellaneous Images; Port Hope and area images.

This accession contains primarily draft typescripts of short fiction and related research notes and correspondence. There are also records related to television and film proposals, including synopses and scripts. Other materials include copies of media reviews and miscellaneous business and personal correspondence.

The records in this accrual largely document the donor's journalistic and non-fiction writing during the 1980s and comprise editorial correspondence, research notes and secondary materials, annotated drafts and printer's proofs, and press releases and reviews for articles published in such magazines as Atlantic Insight, Audubon, Equinox, Harrowsmith and National Geographic. There are similar materials documenting Thurston's work on Tidal Life : A Natural History of the Bay of Fundy, as well as correspondence and administrative records documenting his work with the Writers Federation of Nova Scotia and various professional activities such as attending or organizing workshops and conferences.

The accrual also contains a small volume of materials from the late 1970s related to Thurston's activities as a poet, including some correspondence and administrative records related to the poetry journal, Germination, as well as his involvement with the Dirge Poets and their Merry Men, a performance group of poets and musicians.

Accession contains a portion of the personal archives of Alan Andrews.

This accession consists of miscellaneous records relating to David Renton's acting and directing career, including publicity and performance photographs, correspondepence, contracts, and appointment calendars and diaries. There are also publicity photographs of Karine Renton`s father announcing the CHNS radio program Now it Can Be Told.

This accrual primarily contains book typescripts, page proofs and cover proofs illustrating various stages of the editorial process. There is a limited volume of correspondence relating to both the editorial process and administrative functions such as permissions and sales.
