This fonds consists of records created, accumulated and used by Stephen Onda of Regina, Saskatchewan relating mainly to his professional career as a producer with and president of three Regina-based independent film and video production companies: Framework Productions Inc.; Heartland Motion Pictures Inc. and Stephen Onda Productions Inc.

This fonds consists of 45 series. Productions with a variety of records were described as separate series while productions with only single items were described as part of the Various Productions series.

The types of records included are production business records including scripts, budgets, cast and crew lists, agreements and contracts, and promotional materials; moving images; sound recordings; photographs; electronic records; and posters.

This item consists of the handwritten notes on printed forms used by the census taker for Hillsborough parish, Albert County, New Brunswick, in 1851. It records information under headings for dwelling, name, gender, relationship, age, race, rank or occupation, date of entry into colony, and sick or infirm individual. There are also some general notes on locations and uses of land for farming, lumbering, and coal mining. There are also notes of individuals' birthplaces outside the province. There are some notes of seamen being at sea in summer. The area is divided into districts identified as the mining district, on the Petitcodiac River, Central District and Cape Moiselle Creek settlement. The total number of inhabitants is recorded for each district.

Materials include Malagash Salt Mine Workers' Union minute books (1946-1959), the union charter (1941), collective agreements (1943, 1948, 1950-1954, 1956-1957, 1959, 1961-1967). Microfilm also contains collective agreements of the Oil Chemical and Atomic Workers International Union (1969-1973), the constitution of the Oil Chemical and Atomic Workers International Union (1970) and miscellaneous papers (1952-1972).

File contains a preliminary outline of the History of the Canadian Seamen's Union 1936-1950 and a letter from Charles Macdonald to Tom McGrath, Bud Doucette, and Stan Wingfield. The Canadian Seaman's Union, established 1936 to improve the archaic working conditions and wages for ordinary commercial seamen. Affiliated to the Trades and Labour Congress, this effective, well supported, nationalist, communist led industrial union contributed to Canada's efforts in the Second World War. It gained concessions, was recognized as collective bargaining agent for ordinary seamen, and it fought unsuccessfully to retain Canada's merchant fleet.The outline is an attempt to line up the main sequence of events and the most important nonchronological matters that must be covered.
