The collection reflects Edith Evelyn Turner’s career at the Children’s Hospital, the Winnipeg General Hospital and the Health Sciences Center. Her records document her work as a student, a nurse, a supervisor, a staffing co-ordinator, a designer, and an advisor. The collection has been arranged into seven series and includes textbooks, photographs, pins and name badges, yearbooks and a graduation programme, silver spoons, and design patents.

The collection is comprised of a range of letters, petitions, grants and notes from a number of activities, including correspondence, leases, land patents, and wills. Also included are items that were not acquired during the lifetime of Richard Hatt, but relate to the Hatt family in Dundas and Ancaster. Examples include newspaper articles about the Hatt family businesses, historical tours of Hatt family property, and death notices of descendants of Richard Hatt.

The collection reflects Ada Janet Ross’ nursing career and wartime experience from her nursing training, through to her death and posthumous honours. The records document her time at the Winnipeg General Hospital School of Nursing, the Women’s Hospital in New York, the Selkirk Hospital, as well as her affiliations with the Manitoba Association of Registered Nurses, the Nursing Sisters, and the Canadian Army Medical Corps. The collection is arranged into six series and consists of certificates, programmes, service records, photographs, guidebook, and objects, including a medicine chest which is believed to have been used during the North-West Rebellion of 1885.

The collection documents the life of Isabel Maitland Stewart’s including her education, her training as a nurse, and her career as a nurse and educator. The collection consists of certificates, correspondence, articles, photographs, pins, graduation attire and medals. The collection is arranged into six series which document her life from her early education in Ontario and Manitoba through to her reception of honourary degrees following her retirement. Posthumous events created by acquaintances of Isabel Stewart are also included.

The collection reflects Alfreda Jean Attrill’s education, nursing career, war service, her affiliation with the St. John’s Ambulance Association, and her genealogy. The series is arranged into nine series and covers events from her early life to her death through awards, certificates, memoirs, family histories, correspondence, articles, programs, diaries, invitations, publications and prayers.

The collection consists of various textual records including correspondence, reports, notes, promotional material, constitution and by-laws, newspaper clippings, material for publication, award applications, special event programs, church service bulletins, and other records relating to the regular activities of Waterloo Lutheran Seminary.
