Sandy Mahon collection

This collection consists of family genealogical information taken from Blanchard and Mahon family Bibles, along with items found among the pages of the Bibles, such as newspaper clippings, a photograph, postcards, marriage certificates and performance programmes from plays in which Dr. and Mrs. Edward Blanchard participated. The collection also includes a large rolled family tree for the family of James Robeson and Isabelle Knox, as well as material belonging to architect E. S. Blanchard, including one architectural drawing of the tool shed at his home at 41 Greenfield Avenue, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and one album of images of Charlottetown, fishing trips, etc. Some of the photographs appear to be by local photographer H. B. Sterling.

The fonds consists of personal and business papers, correspondence, sketchbooks, writings, photographs, and other records belonging to Erica Rutherford (1923-2008). The records, which span the years ca. 1930s-2005, document Rutherford's various careers as an actor, set designer, director painter, printmaker, teacher, illustrator, and writer. The fonds also consists of personal papers which provide insight into the private life of an individual who struggled with gender identity from a young age, ultimately undergoing transsexual surgery to live her life as a woman. The fonds has been divided
into the following five series:

The fonds consists of the minutes of the Little Theatre Guild from 1948 to 1957; yearly files containing annual, President's, and committee reports, correspondence, and financial statements, 1954-1968; programs and reviews of Little Theatre Guild and Dominion Drama Festival performances, 1938-1965; three scripts; a costume record book; 14 photographs of productions and social events; one issue of the Prince Edward Island Drama Festival Association newsletter; newspaper clippings; and a scrapbook containing reviews and articles, programs and photographs from 1956-1960.

Little Theatre Guild of Charlottetown

Frank G. O'Neill fonds

This fonds consists of the records (1940-1950) of Frank "Huck" O'Neill of Prince Edward Island, a prisoner of war in Hong Kong and Japan during World War II. Frank served as entertainment officer at the camps and the fonds includes several records related to his activities in this role (ca. 1941-1945), including scripts, programs, sports schedules, game and tournament information, and lists of officers in the camp. The fonds also includes a detailed personal account of Frank's experience at the Shumshuipo POW camp in Hong Kong. Correspondence with Frank's wife and his mother while he was a prisoner, as well as post-war correspondence with the Department of National Defense, Knights of Columbus, the federal Minister of Finance, fellow POW survivors, and correspondence regarding dependant allowance plans, rental administration, and his brothers Charles and J. R. O'Neill are also included. The fonds also includes a few items relating to Frank's post-war involvement in community theatre.

Peter Shama fonds

The fonds contains 76 loose album pages from a scrapbook kept by Peter Shama for the period 1954-1970s. The scrapbook includes newspaper clippings, programs, ticket stubs, and invitations chronicling Peter's involvement with the local theatre community, particularly the Little Theatre Guild of Charlottetown. The fonds also includes Dominion Drama Festival programs and Charlottetown Summer Festival programs, as well as programs and ticket stubs from several smaller festivals and productions. The fonds also contains a photograph album containing 38 images (many of which are identified), a 1958 PEI Drama Festival Best Director trophy, and an A. Y. P. A. 1950 Drama Festival silver spoon.

This collection consists of a scrapbook containing programs and reviews of various theatrical performances given in Prince Edward Island between the years of 1906 and 1958. The programs themselves contain advertisements for many of the Island businesses operating at the time. Many pages have been filmed twice as some of the newspaper clippings have faded reducing legibility.
