The fonds consists of original 16 mm films taken by Isaac Taylor of life in the Yukon from the 1930s to 1950s. Scenes include: downtown Whitehorse, Miles Canyon, picnic and berry-picking outings, work in Mayo, activities at the Taylor & Drury store in Whitehorse, equipment, Sarah and Isaac Taylor and their home, Carcross, vacations outside the Yukon, Teslin, family, shots, carnivals and parades, ceremony to hand over the Alaska Highway to the Canadian Army, Champagne rodeo, fishing at Klukshu, the White Pass and Yukon Route (WP&YR) railway, recreational activities at Marsh Lake and family gatherings. It also includes photocopies of Isaac Taylor's Yukon Order of Pioneers (YOOP) membership certificate dated January 1, 1915, as well as negatives of photographs taken of this certificate.
