Hawkes on Turner Valley Royalties #1 oil discovery; speech about Robert H. Niven (a Calgarian in the Royal Air Force); records relating to monument to British Commonwealth Air Training Plan; and miscellany. Includes photographs of the Hawkes family; of businesses owned by Vincent Hawkes; of musician Jascha Galperin; and of Doug at Earl Grey School, as a travelling salesman and as an RCAF officer (1902-1963, 1980s).
