Series reflects the involvement of the Board with the establishment and maintenance of the Ontario Cancer Institute/Princess Margaret Hospital, and the Board's relationship with the University of Toronto and other teaching hospitals. Minutes of the Board had been kept in nine separate binders, within which minutes were filed in reverse chronological order. Files have been arranged chronologically by date.

Subseries consists of minutes from the Department Heads & Senior Staff Committee. The minutes comprised three separate binders, within which minutes were filed in reverse chronological order. Files have been arranged chronologically by date.
